Sabalenka Marches on to Final, Zheng Stuns Gauff

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka is one step closer to retaining her Australian Open title after a dominant display against Qinwen Zheng in the semifinals.

Sabalenka, who won the title as a neutral athlete due to Belarus' support of Russia in the war against Ukraine, was too strong for Zheng, winning 6-2, 6-1 in just 62 minutes.

The Belarusian has been in impressive form throughout the tournament, dropping just one set on her way to the final. She will now face Zheng Qinwen, who stunned Coco Gauff in the other semifinal.
